Meet Caitlin

My story
Fifty acres outside Waco, Texas. The oldest of eight children. A daddy who made biscotti every Christmas and a mama who believed hospitality was how you showed people they were worth staying for. I didn't know then that I was being shaped into someone who would spend her whole life around tables.
I'm Caitlin — and I moved to Tennessee when I married my husband Nolan in September 2025. We live on a multi-generational homestead in Primm Springs, a wooded little corner of the world where the mornings are slow and the evenings are golden. Right now, we're expecting our first baby, and I find myself wanting to build something worth passing down.
This website is my way of doing that out loud. The recipes I make every week. The homemaking rhythms that help me stay sane and steadied. The theology of hospitality I'm still learning to live out — that God has already provided what we need to be generous, and our only job is to open the door.
I'm not a perfect homemaker. My sourdough doesn't always rise exactly right and my linen isn't always pressed. But I believe wholeheartedly that beautiful moments do not have to be perfect to be lifegiving.
Pull up a chair. The table is always set.

Quiet rhythms, thoughtful hospitality, and old-fashioned practices that help a home feel lifegiving.
Gentle encouragement for walking wholeheartedly with Jesus in the season He has given you.
A letter from the farm
I write a quiet letter to my readers — a recipe, a reflection, something I've been learning or noticing. No noise. No rush. Just a note from my kitchen to yours, whenever I have something worth saying.
A quiet note from Humble Farm, never noise.
